Hi, my Name is Timothy Murr
I am a nine year US Army Veteran who served in Georgia, Virginia, Texas, Germany, Korea, and Iraq. Upon completion of my time in service, I returned home to the Pasco County area where I pursued a career in Law enforcement and served as a Police Officer for seven years. The career choices to this point, while worthwhile, take a huge toll on you physically and mentally. These career choices showed me the absolute worst in the world.
I began my search for a fulfilling career that shows the good in life (Growing a beard, finally, was another desire). As a dad I wanted to find something flexible that allowed me to spend special moments with my children. I searched far and low and my desire kept pointing at photography. I seen so many portraits and landscape photos that were taken in surroundings that just aren't as nice as one would desire and the end result looked like a tropical paradise when properly captured. I found myself with a dream but no experience and no equipment.
I would frequently visit Hudson Beach and snap photos of the sunset on my phone. It was so peaceful and so tranquil. I thought could it really be this easy. I purchased my first camera and began exploring the functions. I began to grow in my journey learning how exposure works, and how different settings effect the image and quickly felt myself becoming immersed. My goals are to capture those perfect moments and preserve those memories for years to come. I strive to show each and everyone I photograph, that they are made "in his image" -Genesis 1:27
I was recently privileged to begin serving my church as a photographer and enjoy every moment of fellowship, worship, praise, and prayer. Let me be a part of those moments you want to cherish forever and show off with pride.
